The race starts at Boar’s Head Sports Club and follows the Boar’s Head single-track and double-track trails to the summit of Round Top Mountain (919 ft). The out-and-back course has a total distance of 4.65 miles, and total elevation gain of 815 ft.
The race is open to all interested racers, runners, and walkers.
The Turn & Burn is the third race of the Charlottesville Summer Trail Running Series. You can register for this race only or for the entire series. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers and points will be awarded to Charlottesville Trail Running Series runners, cumulative time scoring.

Entry Fee: $10 adults, $5 kids 12 and under
Race day registration and check-in opens at 7am. If you signed up for the Summer Trail Running Series, you are automatically registered for this race. You cannot sign up for the series anymore.

Ample parking very near the start. Follow Event Parking signs, which will direct you to an early right turn by the first lake. We fill the parking lot by the Foundation building above the start/finish first.
