Camp Holiday Trails 5-Miler is a challenging 5-mile footrace starting at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Charlottesville, Virginia. The race course follows Reservoir Road, a scenic, hilly, gravel road until reaching Camp Holiday Trails. Here runners will run through camp up a challenging climb to the summit of the camp, whereupon the runners will be enthusiastically greeted by campers. From here, the runners descend back down to Reservoir Road and finish at Trinity Presbyterian Church with refreshments, music, and friends.
All proceeds benefit Camp Holiday Trails, a camp for children with special health needs. The race fee also includes a CHT 5-miler t-shirt for those registering online by July 8th.
CHT 5-Miler is the third race of the 2017 Charlottesville Summer Trail Running Series, a four-race series of 5K to 5-mile distance trail runs. You can register for this race only, or for the entire series.
